Model 1025 Bb Flügelhorn
Made in the classic French small-bore style, this flügelhorn has a light, compact tone that is perfect as a solo instrument, yet is versatile enough to blend in with larger-bore flügels. A player can easily blend with an ensemble, and still provide that little extra “cut” when his voice needs to rise above the rest. The bottom-sprung valves offer a light touch and lightning fast response. Intonation is superb, while the trigger on the third valve slide makes small intonation adjustments easy. Its relaxed, easy playability makes it a natural “double” for trumpet players.
This fine flügelhorn features a no-nonsense traditional design with classic sound but with superb intonation. The Model 1025 “Chicago” is easy blowing, compact and light: perfect for solo- or section work. A triple gig bag is included.

Dave Rogers and Tim Wendt in the pit

I was recently a soloist with the Air Force “Band of the Golden West” on euph. I played the Figaro song from Barber of Seville, Amazing Grace and the piccolo part to Stars and Stripes — the Kanstul horn came through like a champ!
All the D.C. Marine Band euphonium alumni were interested in the Kanstul euphonium.
Thanks, Zig, for creating such a great horn!
